Highly-skilled professionals and up-to-date equipment provide scenery and costumes for three performance spaces at Webster University. It's in this environment that students learn their craft.

Costume Construction demands design execution of the highest standards. Students learn advanced technical production, welding, theatre management, theatre building design, and, where appropriate, stage management.

Students traditionally work in internship programs with other theatres, manufacturers and designers. Under the guidance of professionals, they work to accomplish safe and efficient results of the designer's wishes and dreams.

The on-campus presence of the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Opera Theatre of St. Louis and Dance St. Louis ensures that students compare their work to that of professionals.

Graduating seniors travel to New York each March and put on a showcase for agents and directors. Production students put their work up in portfolio review fashion and hold an open house for invited professionals.
