The latest applications and digital technology are the focus of an Interactive Digital Media degree at Webster University.

Students learn interactive concepts, aesthetic considerations and diverse skills that cover selected computer programs, audio production, and video production and post-production.

Interactive Digital Media majors take rigorous courses that teach them to integrate different media into coherent programs that effectively communicate a message -- whether to tell a story, report a news event or experiment with new media.

There is no portfolio review for this major, although students must submit, for review and approval, a petition to proceed before starting their Senior Overview.

Certificate in Interactive Digital Media

In addition to the full degree program, Webster University offers an Interactive Digital Media certificate.

The goal is to teach students to integrate different media into coherent programs that effectively communicate a message -- whether to tell a story, report a news event or experiment with new media.

The program is available in St. Louis and Geneva.

School of Communications

Webster's School of Communications operates with one goal in mind - to educate and prepare its students to excel as skilled professionals in a global field of communications. To achieve this goal, the school takes a hands-on approach to learning. Students work with professional-grade media equipment as early as their freshman year.
