In addition to the auditions and portfolio reviews, activities for students and parents include: campus tours, admission and financial aid presentations, class observations, and departmental overviews. Off-campus auditions, for theatre only, are held in various cities throughout the country. Please click here for more information.
Students must complete an audition or portfolio review for admission to the Fine Arts Programs. It is recommended that students apply for academic admission before auditioning or doing a portfolio review.
Auditions/portfolio reviews will be held for the following areas:

Music- Jazz Studies(Instrumental or Vocal) - Composition - Music Education - Performance (Orchestral Instruments) - Piano Performance - Voice Performance |
Theatre- Musical Theatre- Acting - Directing |
Please note: Voice Performance and Musical Theatre are separate programs. Students should audition for one or the other.
Auditions for design/tech, stage management, or pre-directing majors must be arranged on an individual basis by calling the Office of Admission at 314-968-6991 or 1-800-753-6765.
