In recognition of the academic merit of specific international honors-level secondary external examinations, Webster University grants lower division advanced standing credit to enrolled students upon receipt of an official transcript of results obtained. Advanced standing transfer credit is evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and determined according to the guidelines of each academic department, to a maximum of 32 credits. The most commonly awarded examinations are outlined below:
International Baccalaureate
Webster University awards first year (freshman) lower-division transfer credit to enrolled students upon receipt of an official transcript of results obtained. Credits are awarded as follows:

A-Levels from the United Kingdom and British-Patterned Systems
Advanced Standing credit may be awarded for grades of “D” or higher to a maximum of 32 credits.
Austrian Matura (Refeprufungszeugnis)
Advanced Standing credit may be awarded for grades of “4” or better to a maximum of 21 credits.
Dutch Voorbereidend Wetenschappelijk Onderwijs (VWO)
Advanced Standing credit may be awarded for grades of “6” or higher to a maximum of 24 credits.
European Baccalaureate
Advance Standing credit may be awarded for with a minimum value of 2 hours per week and grades of 6-10, to a maximum of 32 credits.
French Baccalaureate from France and French-Patterned Systems
Advanced Standing credit may be awarded for grades of 9 or higher on subjects with a coefficient of 4 or higher, to a maximum of 24 credits.
German Zeugnis Hochschulreife (Abitur)
Advanced Standing credit may be awarded for subjects with grades of 4 or higher, to a maximum of 24 credits.
Italian Maturità
Advanced Standing credit may be awarded for subjects completed at the end of the upper secondary cycle with grades of 6 or higher, to a maximum of 24 credits
Norweigan Vitnemal Vidergaende Skolen
Advanced Standing credit may be awarded for grades of “2” or higher to a maximum of 21 credits.
Swiss Maturité
Advanced Standing credit may be awarded for subjects with grades of 3 or higher, to a maximum of 24 credits.
