One of the things you’ll love about Webster University is that you have choices. No other university offers you so many choices to experience an international perspective and prepare for your future as a global citizen.
Webster University students can study abroad at one of six international campuses:
Webster University's campus network makes it easy to get an international education and global perspective! And out students agree, citing the study abroad opportunities as one of the most rewarding and memorable experiences at Webster. In fact, nearly 30 percent of our four-year students complete a study abroad experience before they graduate. The national average is just 1 percent!
With our international reputation for academic leadership and internship partnerships, Webster University alumni are actively recruited by corporations, financial service firms, organizations, schools, news and entertainment media, and hospitals all over the world.
To help our students take advantage of the study abroad opportunities, Webster University created the World Traveler Program. This program is available to all undergraduate and graduate degree-seeking students who have completed at least 15 credit hours at the University. Through the program, Webster awards one round-trip coach-class ticket to qualified students from the student's home campus to another eligible Webster international site.
A Leader in International Education
Webster opened its first international campus in 1978 in Geneva, Switzerland. Like all Webster campuses, Webster Geneva’s flexible, American-style higher education attracted not only Americans, but students of many other nationalities as well. Our classes in Geneva, Vienna and London draw students from more than 100 nationalities.
Classes Taught in English
Though you’re sure to get a culturally unique experience when you study abroad, don’t worry – you don’t need to know the local language. All Webster courses are taught in English. The staff is bilingual in English and the host language.
In many cases, language courses are available to help you engage in the local environment. And with classmates from all around the world also earning their degrees, you’ll never be alone - but you’ll always be embarking on a new experience.
Once you complete 15 credit hours at Webster, you may be eligible for the Webster World Traveler program, which provides one free round-trip air ticket to the Webster campus where you will study abroad.
With Webster's global campus network, you don't have to worry about transferring your study abroad credits. That's because when you study at one of our overseas campuses, you're still at Webster, just in a different location!
