Log In to Webster

Transfer student advising is handled by the Academic Advising Center, which provides you with information about academic programs as well as special study opportunities.

All St. Louis-area students may visit this office for academic advising assistance and registration or to pick up catalogs, course schedules, add/drop slips, withdrawal forms, and change of advisor forms.

Beyond the major and general education requirements, you will choose all elective coursework to meet your individual educational goals. Therefore, academic advising will play a major role in your academic career as you plan your course of study.

On acceptance to Webster, you will schedule an appointment to discuss you academic plans and to register for first semester classes. Based on this initial advising session, you will be assigned an academic advisor -- usually a faculty member within your intended area of study.

Throughout your career at Webster, you will work with your academic advisors to plan your choice of University courses. The advisor helps you choose coursework to meet individual educational and career goals, informs you about academic policies and procedures, and helps solve a variety of academic problems.

Ultimately, however, it is the responsibility of each student to keep apprised of current graduation requirements for his or her particular degree program.
