Steps to Apply to Webster:
1. Complete all the required fields in the online application for transfer students.
2. Submit an essay of 300-500 words on a topic of your choice. A short paper written for a college class is acceptable. (You may paste the text of your essay the final step of the online application.)
3. Include your $35 non-refundable application processing fee.
4. Have official transcripts from each college, university or post-secondary school you have attended mailed directly to Webster’s Undergraduate Admission Office:
Webster University
Office of Undergraduate Admissions
8356 Big Bend Blvd.
St. Louis, MO 63119-3114
(Transcripts issued directly to students will not be accepted.)
If you have completed fewer than 30 semester hours of college credit, you will also need to have an official high school transcript or GED scores sent directly to us.
5. If you plan to major in Art, Dance, Film Production, Music, or Theatre, you will be required to present a portfolio, audition or interview. Please contact the Undergraduate Admission Office for further information, dates and deadlines.
Note: ACT or SAT scores are not required for transfer students if you have been out of high school for more than one year.
When to Apply
Applications should be submitted early in the semester prior to the semester in which you hope to enroll. For example, if you wish to apply for the Fall semester, you should submit your application in February or March; if you plan to apply for Spring, submit the application in September or October. Apply early, especially if you plan to apply for financial aid or would like to be considered for scholarship.
Applications submitted less than two weeks prior to the start of the term may not be processed in time for enrollment. Since Webster operates on a rolling admission basis, you will normally be notified of your admission status within two weeks of the time your application is complete.
While a minimum cumulative college G.P.A. of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale is preferred, every application is given thorough review and careful consideration. You may also submit any pertinent information regarding your academic performance along with your application. We encourage you to discuss any individual circumstances that might affect your admission with your admission counselor.
You may also apply online through the Common Application or you may download the PDF.

Webster has agreements with many schools and community colleges, so many courses you have already taken will apply toward your bachelor's degree.
