

Webster Leiden’s distinguished professors encourage you to grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially. You will be encouraged to engage in stimulating class discussions, help organize field trips, and be actively involved in learning. Assignments focus on real-world situations and case studies to make learning exciting and relevant. Faculty have real world experience in the subjects they teach. One example is Dr. Fatos Tarifa, the Albanian Ambassador to the Court to The Netherlands, who teaches history and politics. Another is Professor Phyllis Hamilton, Deputy Secretary General of the Permanent Court of Arbitration at the Peace Palace in the Hague, who teaches international law and business.
In addition to our outstanding undergraduate programs, Webster in Leiden offers a highly respected master of business administration program, as well as other master’s programs in management, international business, and international relations.
Internships, Events, and Study Trips
A rich array of internships and exposure to international business are available with organizations in nearby The Hague and surrounding communities. Prominent organizations include the American and various other embassies, IBM, the International Court of Justice at the Peace Palace, the European Space Agency, the European Patent Office, Phillips, MEXX, ABN AMRO Bank, and several other large banks and organizations.
Webster Leiden’s Cultural Immersion program augments classroom discussions with visits to cultural points of interest including the Amsterdam Documentary Film Festival and the International Court of Justice at the Peace Palace, the wine regions of France, museums in Italy, France, Holland, Belgium, and Spain, and other excursions. The program’s goal is to develop renaissance men and women with a thorough general knowledge of the arts and culture who possess a lifelong appreciation of learning.
