London offers virtually unlimited entertainment opportunities ranging from movies, theatre, and traditional pubs to cutting-edge nightlife and some of the world’s best music venues. World-class museums include the Victoria & Albert Museum and the British Museum. Big Ben and Buckingham Palace are also favorites.

For shopping, the famous Harrod’s and Harvey Nichols are nearby. Students also flock to bohemian Camden Market or bustling Covent Garden with its outdoor cafés and street entertainment.

London has an extensive public transit system of double-decker buses, taxis, and the Underground subway service more popularly known as “the Tube.” London is also considered a gateway to Europe through Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, and City airports and the Eurostar rail.

   

Did You Know?

Students who successfully complete all of their requirements for their bachelor's degree and satisfy three core components of international education (second language proficiency, study abroad, and an international field work/internship) will have their bachelor's degree awarded with “International Distinction.” This distinction designation is annotated on the student's diploma and official transcript.
